The Association is in place to protect the Young 88 fleet and the future of the class. We have an elected committee and all duties performed for the association are by volunteers. Our focus is on:
- the constitution
- maintaining the one design standards
- creating an exciting race environment
- maintaining the value of the yachts
- keeping all owners worldwide within one forum
- organizing social events
- maintaining a strong environment for our sponsors
- having New Zealand's best sailors in our fleet
- protecting the hulls and the future
- having a lot of fun
