NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given that an Annual General Meeting of the Young 88 Owners Association of New Zealand (inc) will be held at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron's clubrooms at Westhaven on Wednesday 26th April 2023, commencing at 1900 hours.

The meeting will be preceded by an informal meal and drink in the members bar/Quarterdeck restaurant.

All members are asked to attend or if desired, complete and return the attached proxy form / nomination form. These are to be received no later than 12pm on the day of the meeting.

Business

1. Opening of the meeting and apologies.
2. To read and approve the minutes from the last AGM.
3. To receive the Presidents report.
4. To receive the Treasurers report.
5. To receive and approve the financial accounts of the association for the year ended 31st December 2022. 
   1. Statement of Income and Expenditure (aka the P&L)
   2. Statement of Financial Position (aka the Balance Sheet)
6. To set subscription levels for the year commencing 1st January 2024.
7. To elect the officers of the Association (President, Secretary, Treasurer, and committee members).
8. Motions to be heard.
   1. Rule change to add a number 3 jib to sail portfolio

9. General business and recommendations to the incoming committee.
   1. Rules modernisation project update
   2. Stanchion / railing rule project update & member feedback Discussion Paper Link
