The short, action-packed, windward-leeward sprint format is always hugely popular with crews seeking a mid-week break from the office/home office.
It's also great practice for the owner-driver to hone starting skills and get the crew in shape around the corners. There will be opportunities for crew recruitment, swapping, and coaching with more emphasis on fun and learning.
The North Sails Young 88 Sprints will be raced on Thursday nights with the RNZYS Elliott 7 fleet on alternate Thursdays to the RNZYS Weds night summer series. It will be part of the City of Sails Sprints combined club and fleet series being run by NBYC, PCC and RNZYS,
