The series kicks off with a no points free practice night Thursday October 1st to get crews, race management and tech tuned in.. 

This series is a critical part of the Activ88 strategy to get boats off the market, out of marinas, and sailing again. 

We need you on the water to keep our city fleet thriving, the racing hot, and the sails flying in the City of Sails!

• Fast & Furious Fun: Short 1800-2000hrs, action-packed 3 x windward-leeward sprints—the ultimate Thursday night break from the desk.

• Sharpen Your Edge: Perfect owner-driver practice to hone your boat handling and get the crew humming around the marks.

• Crew, Coaching & Connections: Opportunities for Youth Training Program & Learn to Race crew placements, crew recruitment,  swapping, and coaching, informal brief and debriefs,  all with a big focus on fun and learning.

The Details:

• Schedule: Back to the more popular Thursday nights (alternating fortnightly with the RNZYS Wednesday series).

• Format: Combined club/class series jointly run by NBYC, PCC, and RNZYS.

• Location: The fleet overlaps have gone, and the race officer is free to choose to race immediately east or west of the bridge to offer the best racing on the night
